I am a wisher, wishing this life wasn't mine
I am a girl, who thinks of suicide
I am a teenager, pushing my tears aside,
I am a student, who doesnt have a clue
I am the girl sitting next to you
I am the one, asking you to care
I am no one hoping you'd care.

Knife, blood, screams, nightmares,
All ingredients for how not to care.
Gun shots, yells, then laughter,
Showing results of nothing after.
Tears, smiles, and jet-black clothes,
Will follow the footsteps of his death, I suppose.
But phone calls, beginnings, a lesson learned,
Make them all realize how life should be earned.
So did it help, that I tried to say,
All the things wrong that I had done today?
As my new life seems to fade away,
And my heart seems to scream decay.

I'm demanding this life, with my hand on the knife, as I scream for redemption's song.
The angels have fallen, the warlords are callin, so all of the scriptures were wrong.
They spoke of such pleasure, with no way to measure, the joy that was called heaven.
Now I'm stuck in this minute, I dread what's within it, as my sins now total eleven.
